AT5005-P is an end-of-line test instrument ideal for measuring the dielectric strength (leakage) of windings or appliances. The test is carried out, according to the regulations, by using a 500VA step-up transformer with a voltage ranging from 10 to 5000 Vac. It’s possible to set a maximum leakage current threshold beyond which the machine goes into alarm. AT5005-P also allows to make destructive or impulsive tests allowing the operator to identify any fault in the winding or the dispersion point. Thanks to the retractable tip guns and the optional foot pedal, the operator works in total safety. The standard machine has a full scale of 29mA, but can also be supplied with different full scale (according to your needs).
