E101U-2iE is an universal DIN rail I/O module suitable for isolating and acquiring an analog process inputs (4…20mA – 0..10V – 0…75mV etc) or a thermoresistance (Pt100/1000/500 – Ni100) or a thermocouple ( type J-K-R-S-T-B-E-N) or a resistance (0…100kOhm). The type of input, the full scale and the type of sensor are settable by the user. The high flexibility foresees the use of this device in all those systems, automations or applications where the signal coming from themperature sensor, resistive sensors, or simply an analog signal must be isolated, suitably scaled or simply acquired by integrated devices such as PLC, HMI, industrial PC or displays (ex. ID5001, SID8MP, ID33001 etc.) offers high precision and resolution thanks to the two insulated analog outputs and the data interface on board. Its small size allows to use this device even in panel with reduced spaces. E101U-2iE is also equipped with an SD memory card capable of containing the data acquired by the instrument to allow a data log, a RS485 ModBus RTU serial interface and an Ethernet output with ModBus TCP/IP output which provides remote monitoring of all measurement and configuration parameters. It’ also equipped with two digital outputs which can be used as alarm outputs. Module programming can be performed via DIP SWITCH, via RS485 serial interface or via smartphone (using the E-WSET accessory module). All the products of the ESAM E10X automation modules line support the TBUS connection that allows multiple devices to be connected by adding functionality to the module itself (ex. by introducing a module for universal I / O management: E101U), it allows to reduce wiring and guarantees control of all devices connected to the bus by a single module.
